As many of you know, Cory has been in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma for training. He was suppose to return home late Monday night. I was very excited to awake to a text EARLY Saturday morning that he was home. Now if I can squeeze a whole 6 months worth of homecoming into 4 days before he leaves for summer camp. I am so very grateful for the National Guard and so very proud to be a wife of a soldier. Times are really hard when he is gone but we manage. My kids have a very strong sense of patriotism and for that this time away is worth it. There is nothing worse than going to an event where kids are running around and even adults are not paying attention to the national anthem being sung. If they only knew...... Thank you to those of you who do know! The next time you hear the anthem or hear the pledge of allegiance, think of the words that are in them, think of the men and women who have died so that we can live in this great nation, think of the men and women who serve now so that you can enjoy the freedoms you have. Be proud to be an AMERICAN!!!!

I had no idea he had been gone! Lucky me I got to see him that Saturday morning in Farmer's gas station. Hope the next couple days you have with him are great!
What a great surprise! Thank you Cory for your service to our country!
