Cory found a coconut floating in the water. Only 1 place that could have come from. There was also a dead dolphin. It was just a little one. Really sad.

Tide Pools
Our 2nd activity we visited the tide pools just below the aquarium. This is a research facility of Birch's aquarium and it was so awesome! Sandy shared on FB that when she visited SoCal they went visiting tide pools. We will ALWAYS have that on our agenda from now on. It was really fun. We were able to see tons a anemones and hermit craps. We saw 1 crab with a big pincher and lots of star fish. It was just tons of fun looking over and under the rocks to see what was trapped. We didn't get to visit all the ones we had planned but next time. When we were at the aquarium I asked about the tide pools and the helper pulled out 2 maps of additional tide pools. I can't wait.

We always stop at the tide pools too.
