Labor Day Weekend

We made it through Peach Days! Yea! The booth was okay I guess. I have no idea how many shirts we acually sold but I thought that it was fun that we had that available. Oh yeah the PTO had a booth during Peach Days where we sold T-shirts. Backstreet came up with the cutest design ever that has an illistration of the old HES and the new with the saying "Every new beginning comes from another beginning's end". I just LOVE that. So we sold a few but I think the people that worked in the booth bought most of them. Too funny. So for my Labor Day weekend on Friday after work we set up the booth. Then picked up a bunch of Michael's friends and took them down to Moapa (Logandale) for the HHS football game. Michael hadn't had a b-day party yet so that is what we did. Jessica was staying the night at Kylee's so she was having WAY fun. Christian is just one of the boys and Michael is such a wonderful big brother (most the time) to let Christian hang out with him and his friends. Christian keeps up with all of them though. He loves it. The boys watched War of the Worlds on the way down. They have this scary movie thing. Everytime Michael has friends over they have to watch a scary movie. Last time there was a HUGE electrical storm and we were all standing on the balcony when one bolt hit (I am not kidding) just down the street. We couldn't get in the house soon enough! The boys all screamed like little girls and fell on top of each other as they tried to get inside the house. Anyway so Moapa- HOLY COW it is HHHOOOTTT down there! The Tigers won 38 to 12 and that last 2 minutes was so hard to stay. It was soooo hot down there. We had about the same amount of fans there so I felt bad for them. Their band was amazing so maybe that is what they are good at. Anyway so we came home and watched a haunting in conneticut to stay with our scary movie theme that the boys do. Way funny. The next morning we went to the parade, came home and had a huge breakfast and just hung out. Then we went to Peach Days and walked around. We had Navajo Tacos at one of the booths and then went to our booth. We tore it down and went home. Church on Sunday and then up to Kolob. We stayed the night and after Steve got done fishing at dark he came over. The next morning we packed up early because Michael was suppose to have football practice and then Steve came by so they had an airsoft war. Way fun for the boys. Jess and I went into the trailor and played cards because man those things hurt! Cory thought it would be fun to shoot me in the butt and I have the hugest welt EVER. I have no idea how they do that. I will never. I have went paintballing a hundred times. But I will never have an airsoft war. Then we came home. Went shopping to take back some of Michael's school clothes (didn't fit right, Jessica calls him a fashion Diva) and had dinner and Michael had to be home to pick up flags with his scout troop. Fun weekend. Why do they go sooo fast. Oh- well back to work! Here we go- the 2nd week of September? You have got to be kidding me......

Holy Cow, that sounds fun and busy! Are you the PTO pres again? It sounds like the boys had fun. I know that Michael just had a birthday and all but when you said Football, I was surprised. It just seems so old. What doesn't he play!? Really, I wanted to cry when I was reading it all because all I could think was I wish we were there so Christian could have come and stayed with us. Although it is way fun to play with the big boys. Miss you all. It looks like you had a great weekend.
