Yep- I am still here!

OMGosh! It seems I have no time anymore! I started working 11/24 and as you can see that is when my updates ended. I work for SmartMed and I really love it! I get paid pretty chinsy but I am learning a ton. I tested with QED transcription and didn't pass their grammer test (81%), no surprise here. I HATE grammer. For some reason it has always plagued me. The plague started when I was in H.S. I think, I am sure whenever it was introduced to me is when it began. I felt pretty bad about the failing because it was quite a detailed test. It took a lot of time and while I was working and still trying to take care of the fam it was a big sacrifice. Oh well. I was working the middle of the night shift but that was way too much! I couldn't get enough sleep so it ended up usually sleeping a couple of hours, getting up working a little and then sleeping when Christian was at school. That didn't work out. On Monday I started a new shift- 4:30 am - 1:30 pm. It is so much better exept the fact that Jami and my shopping day is messed up. I hope she forgives me! I really missed it during the holidays. Jami is my sanity in this stage in my life! She teaches me sooo much and I have so much fun with her. Plus she always makes me feel better about what I am going through and I think that is the definition of a true friend! Love ya Jam! So my new shift, I am getting so many more lines done. About double! I am also understanding so much more. I really love what I do! Everything else is wonderful. We had an amazing holiday season. Traditional and way fun. We always go over to my parents in St. George for Xmas eve and Xmas day. They come over Xmas morning before the kids get to see what Santa brought. That is a carry over from my childhood. We had to stay in our rooms until Grandma and Grandpa got there before we could see what Santa had brought. They lived across the field from us in Beaver and I remembering it taking FOREVER. It makes the morning so much more fun when it is shared. Then after the kids open all their gifts at our house we go over to my parents and open gifts there. Tradition. I love it! On New Year's Eve we usually stay home and play games until midnight but this year we went to Cory's mom's house and played games. It was a lot of fun. We played cards and Catchphrase. So fun. Since school has started we have just been go, go, GO! Cory has his hardest schedule ever on his quest to officer and degree. I am so proud of him. He works, goes to school full time and still does so much for us. When I started working he knew it would be hard for me to keep up so he started the chore list again. He has been so good to take it upon himself. It has helped so much. Now I don't have to do all of the housework. It makes it really nice. Now I just have to convince the family that they each need to take a night and make dinner- LOL. Well that just about does it for today. Enjoy the new pics!
