I have quite a story to tell about my adorable aunts. I have had the privledge of growing up with these wonderful ladies. They are actually my dad's aunts so my great aunts. We used to always do tons of things together. They grew up in Minerville. There were 7 girls and 1 boy in their family. My grandma Merlene passed away when I was just 10. The only things I remember about her is the clothes she would wear, jumpsuits with heels, and how beautiful she was. I remember her funeral because it was the 1st time I ever saw my dad cry. She used to call me Mandy and my little brother Stevie- my mom HATED it, with a passion. Side note: When I moved to Hurricane there were 3 other Amandas in my class and 1 Mandy and everyone would ask me if I went by Mandy. Of course I hated it just as much as my mom. So getting back, my great Aunts, well 3 of them and my 2nd cousin Ashley came to Angie's baby shower. It was so cool! I love them so much! Everything about them brings back so many wonderful memories of Lake Powell, the deer hunt and Christmas Eves. Those were the days! I find myself saying that alot lately. So here they are My Aunt Geniel, Aunt Rama Aunt LaRee and Ashley. My mom's sister Aunt Dena came also. She named me so I think she is pretty special too! It was a really fun day!
