End of levels.....

As we wind down our school year, I can't help but to be grateful that its almost over.  It has been a great year though.  The kids have finished their end of level test with great scores.  Michael got a 94 on his Intro to Medical class and quite a compliment from a great teacher.  Those are ALWAYS nice!  Better than a comment like "He complains ALOT"!  On no.  Yep we of course passed that on to him so that he could maybe change his whiny ways.  hee hee.  Jess got a 98 on her math end of levels.  Mrs. M is so great to make sure that each of her students understand the concepts.  I appreciate teachers like that so very much!  Chrish got a 93 on his science end of levels.  I am so glad he gets that stuff.  It flies over my head for sure.  Needless to say we are very glad that those are complete!  I bet not half as much as the teachers though ;)

Jessica has had the opportunity to be a Peer Mediator at HIS for two years now.  I can not tell you how much this has helped her.  She absolutely LOVES the program.  She had the opportunity to present the peer mediation program to the middle school today.  Dr. H and Mr. G were very generous with their time and gave the girls a chance to talk about their experiences and the way the program works.  We are hopeful that they will try the program for a year at HMS.  I hope it goes well.  Jessica will really miss it if they decide not to try it.  Thank goodness for good teachers and counselors that really CARE about our kids.  I am a very grateful mom.
