Blankets for the Soldiers

My special buddy helped me and the other gals make blankets for the guys. A gal in Cedar City made it her goal to make a blanket for each soldier that just deployed. These blankets are special because they are up to the Army's criteria so that the guys can carry them on their ruck sac. This way they are carrying a little piece of home with them no matter what. Since there are almost 600 soldiers this gal needs our help. There are about 170 blankets done and 90 were received by the guys on Tuesday but there is a long way to go. There are sewing days until the middle of July if you would like to help. I can get you the info if you are interested. Just comment and I can get you the schedule. They are all down here. We need all hands available.
