Easter trip to Lehman Caves

Dad came up with the idea to visit Lehman Caves for Eater. If you have never been put it on your "todo" list! It was so worth it. If you want to go there make sure you go through Cedar and Milford as this way is a lot closer. We went through Enterprise for some odd reason. As you can see we had a typical Easter lunch, deli sandwiches. As you can also see it was FREEZING! They had received about 16 inches of snow over the last few days. Of course. We knew it was going to be chilly but not like this. The ironic thing is that the cave is a constant 50 degrees so it was warmer in the cave than outside. It took us about 3 hours to get there. Well worth the trip. This cave was amazing! The history was great too. My pictures just don't do the formations justice. It was awesome. On a side note, the cave provides carriers for little ones. Taylor thought she was going to die. HATED it! It was funny. She wasn't really a fan of don't get dirty either. She wanted to sit on the wet ground and touch the dirt in her pretty white new pants. It was really cold but a definite "again do" on our list. Please share with me some of your fav So. Utah hikes. The Easter bunny brought the kids camel backs so we will be hiking lots this summer!

It is a great Easter trip. Our boys loved it last year for our Easter trip. Too bad we didn't coordinate and go together.

I have heard about these caves but have never been. I will definitely put them on my to do list. We are always looking for fun weekend escapes, and this will fit right in.
